Day 1 – arrival to Sarajevo
You will be met and accompanied by Travel Croatia representative to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure until the welcome dinner. (D)
Day 2 – in Sarajevo
Sarajevo, the capital of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been inﬂuenced by a number of cultures and civilizations over its long history. On your city tour, visit the Turkish Bazaar Baščaršija, Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, the Olympic Stadium and Gavrilo Princip Museum. Your afternoon and evening are free. (B)
Day 3 – arrival to Dubrovnik
After breakfast, drive to Dubrovnik with a stop in Mostar and a couple of free hours in Mostar for exploring. Arrival to Dubrovnik. Dinner. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B, D)
Day 4 – in Dubrovnik
On a morning walking tour of Old Dubrovnik visit the Rector’s palace and see the Bell Tower Clock, Orlando’s Column, Sponza palace, the Dominican monastery, and Franciscan monastery with its pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world. The rest of the day is free. (B)
Day 5 – arrival to Split
Travel north along the spectacular Adriatic coast, past old ﬁshing villages and new resorts, to the city of Split. Enjoy a sightseeing tour featuring a historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Then see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. After free time in Split head back to your hotel for dinner. Day 6 – to Trogir and Plitvice Lakes National Park
Head to Trogir, the center of artistic activities. Scholars from around the world gather here to study and paint. Scholars from around the world gather here to study and paint. Little labyrinth of an island, town of lucky moment and Greek God Kairos, is completely UNESCO protected, which you will understand as soon as you see the town. After sightseeing Trogir turn inland and travel to spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park. After dinner the rest of the day is free. (B, D)
Day 7 – Plitvice Lakes National Park
Have your camera ready as you take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. After this adventure, return to your hotel for dinner. (B, D)
Day 8 – to Opatija, Postojna and Bled
Return to the coast and travel along the beautiful bay of Kvarner to its popular resort, Opatija. After some free time, travel north to Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Tour this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterward, continue to Bled, beautifully set in the Julian Alps. Dinner at your hotel and a leisure evening. (B, D)
Day 9 – in Bled
A sightseeing tour of Bled features the charming town, the lakeshore, and a visit to the imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliﬀ high above the lake and join an excursion to the small island in the middle of the lake Bled. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B)
Day 10 – to Ljubljana and Zagreb
Travel to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, and take a walking tour. See the sights of the old city center, including the picturesque open-air Central Market, Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall, and Robba Fountain. Then, head to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Dinner at your hotel. Free evening. (B, D)
Day 11 – in Zagreb
This morning, enjoy a city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament, and the Government Palace. The rest of the day is free to explore the winding streets of the Old Town, relax in a café or take an optional excursion to see the countryside. (B)
Day 12 – Travel Croatia homeward journey
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure ﬂight. (B)
