Highlights: Pelješac peninsula is known as one of the best wine regions in Croatia. This tour allows you to sample the best local wines and enjoy the magnificent peninsula scenery and picturesque vineyards. We will start the tour with a visit to Ston, a town famous for its 5 km long defensive wall, the second largest in the world, right after the Chinese wall and finish in Mali Ston, center of oyster production in Croatia. We will also visit Arboretum Trsteno, founded in 1502 by the Dubrovnik aristocratic family Gučetić- Gozze around their summer mansion.

What To Expect
Ston is famous for its Croatian Chinese wall and for the oysters, so this is a great first stop. Pelješac is well-known for it premium red wines Dingač and Postup from autochthonous variety of grape Plavac Mali, its beautiful landscapes and unique vineyards. Descendant of Dobričić and Crljenak Kaštelanski (known also as Zinfandel or Tribidrag; yes Zinfandel actually originates from Croatia!), Plavac mali is almost the only grape variety planted here. Pelješac Peninsula is a relaxing and refreshing place known as Pelješac Paradise. Perfect for a quick escape from city crowd.
